There are 29 public beach accesses in the town of Kill Devil Hills, NC and of those, 19 have fixed-stand lifeguards. There are no fees associated with to use of these access. However, to have a Wedding with Pets, you must observe the Beach Assess Pet Laws.
§ 94.06 ANIMALS ON THE BEACH.
Between May 15 and September 15 of each year, no dogs shall be permittedon the public beach between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. unless being used to aid a handicapped person. At all other times, no dogs shall be permitted on the public beaches except upon a leash and under the control of owner or handler.
Kill Devil Hills is a very Pet Friendly area of the Outer Banks & the reason for the time restrictions is for the safety & well being of your pet. Heat Prostration can Kill, Please be aware of your pet’s environment & keep lots of cool fresh water on hand.

Weddings with Pets on the Beaches of the
Town of Kitty Hawk, NC

Pets are welcome on the Kitty Hawk Beaches year round and also at special events such as weddings. The following guidelines must be followed to ensure a perfect day for both you and your pet. From the Friday before Memorial Day until the day after Labor Day between the hours of 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM dogs must be on a leash not exceeding 6 feet. At all other times, dogs must be restrained on a leash retractable to 12 feet. Dogs may be taken off the leash only if they will not disturb other people on the beach. Unleashed dogs must be controlled by the handler, who must remain within 30 feet of the dog at all times. Leash must be with owner/handler at all times. Owner handler must remove feces and possess a bag/container for waste removal at all times. All dogs must display a current rabies tag and local dogs must also display a Dare Co. tag as well. Pet are Welcome Year Round on the Beachs of the town of Nags Head, NC.
There are 41 public beach accesses in the town of Nags Head, NC and of those, 10 have lifeguards. There are no fees associated with to use of these access. However, to have a Wedding with Pets, you must observe the Beach Assess Pet Laws. Leashes must not exceed 10 feet on length.

Weddings with Pets on the Beaches of the Town of Southern Shores, NC
The Town of Southern Shores, NC has NO Public Beach Accesses.
All Weddings with Pets on the oceanfront after Sept. 15th of each year and before May 15th of each year are required to Park on Private Property. Leash Laws are inforced year round.
Leashes must not exceed 10th feet in length.
